Trails are vast and numerous in the Haliburton
Highlands and you can access all of them from
the Wigamog Inn Resort. In the summer there are
numerous hiking trails, and phenomenal ATV trail
network and also biking routes and trails for
Horse back riders. During winter the guests can
access over 200 km of Nordic Ski Trails and almost
1000 km of local snowmobile trails. For more information

ARTS
The Haliburton Highlands is a “Mecca”
for artist and Art lovers alike. Fleming College’s
Haliburton School of the Arts boasts hundreds
of courses in the spring, summer and fall for
budding artists and “pros” alike…..and
for something unique check out the Haliburton
Sculpture Forest. In addition to the “School
of Arts” there are also galleries such as
the Ethel Curry Gallery and various artisans that
produce wares from Pottery to Stained galls and
everything in between.
During the summer Haliburton hosts plenty of entertainment
from live music to Live Theatre. The summer stock
is performed in the months of July and August
in the form of the Highlands Summer Festival in
the northern lights Pavilion in Haliburton.
